Terms of service

These terms apply when you buy from newcastlebeds.com, by phone or in our showroom. Please read them before ordering. They do not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

1. About us

Newcastle Beds Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales, number 11280627. Our registered office and showroom is Unit 11 Blaydon Trade Park, Toll Bridge Road, Blaydon-on-Tyne NE21 5TR. Contact us on 0191 435 3289 or info@newcastlebeds.com.

2. Your order

  • Our contract with you starts when we email to confirm your order. We will also call you within 24 hours to confirm the details and delivery lead time.
  • Please check your order carefully, including size, fabric, colour and storage options, before confirming.
  • We may refuse an order, for example if an item is unavailable or a price is clearly wrong. If so, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid.

3. Prices and offers

  • Prices include VAT and free standard delivery to mainland UK.
  • Discount codes apply only during the stated offer period and cannot be combined unless we say so.
  • If we find a pricing error after you order, we will contact you before going ahead. You can then confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

4. Paying

You can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay, or spread the cost with Zopa (0% interest-free credit over 3 to 12 months), Klarna (pay in 3) or Clearpay (4 instalments). Credit is subject to status and provided by the finance company, not by us.

5. Delivery

  • Delivery is free to mainland UK.
  • Lead times vary by product. The estimated lead time is shown on each product page and confirmed when we call you. We, or our delivery partner, will contact you to agree a delivery day, with slots between 7am and 10pm.
  • Standard delivery is to the front door of a house, or the entrance lobby of a block of flats. 2-man delivery, room-of-choice delivery, assembly and removal of your old bed are available for an extra charge.
  • If no one is in at the agreed time, or there is no safe access, a £50 redelivery charge applies. Moving a confirmed delivery date with less than 48 hours' notice also incurs a £50 charge.
  • You can ask us to hold your order and deliver later, for example while you decorate.
  • Please measure doorways, stairs and hallways before ordering. We are not responsible if an item does not fit through your property, but we will try to help find a solution.
  • Christmas delivery: orders placed by the cut-off date we publish (Tuesday 10 November 2026 for Christmas 2026) are scheduled for delivery before Christmas. Delays outside our control, such as severe weather, can occasionally happen and we will keep you informed.

6. Cancelling and returns

Your rights to cancel, return, and get a refund for faulty items are set out in our Refund & Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Guarantee

Our beds carry a 5-year guarantee against manufacturing defects, in addition to your legal rights. Full details are in our Refund & Returns Policy.

8. Products

  • Product photos show our own beds. Colours can look slightly different on screen, and natural variation between fabric batches can occur.
  • Measurements are approximate and may vary by up to 2cm.

9. Our responsibility to you

  • If we break these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that, but not for losses that were not foreseeable, or for business losses.
  • We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot legally be limited, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

10. Using our website

You may use our website for personal shopping only. Please don't copy our content or photos without permission, or misuse the site. Your personal information is handled under our Privacy Policy.

11. Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can put it right. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on our website when you place your order applies to that order.
